Ability to start and manage External Vent Device and run a CRT machine
Job Description
Delivering nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and providing holistic support to patients and families.
Assuring quality care in line with professional standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintaining cooperative relationships among healthcare team members.
Ensuring a safe patient care environment adhering to infection control and medication administration policies.
Documenting patient care services and maintaining confidentiality.
Monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Consulting with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Modifying patient treatment plans based on responses and conditions.
Educating individuals and families on health education, disease prevention, and management.
Preparing patients for exams and explaining procedures and discharge processes.
Demonstrating IV therapy competency and managing central lines.
Recognizing and reacting quickly in emergency situations.
Supervising and delegating duties to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.
Ensuring compliance with National Patient Safety Goals.
Performing other specified duties as assigned for patient care and unit-specific competencies.
Driving the vision and fulfilling the mission in alignment with organizational values.
This role involves working on a dynamic cardiothoracic unit, including directly recovering cardiac patients from the OR. A competent and team-oriented individual with a good work ethic is essential. The dress code requires wearing appropriate black scrubs.
