Job Title : Registered NurseJob Specialty : CVORJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : Night 4x10-Hour (21 : 00 - 07 : 30), Monday-ThursdayGuaranteed Hours : Not specifiedExperience : Minimum of 3 years, candidates with less than 3 years must have at least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experienceLicense : IN / Compact license required or in the processCertifications : BCLSMust-Have : - Experience in Heart / lung transplant, valve replacement, aortic dissection- Ability to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center- Strong skills in Circulate, CV, PV, Heart, and Lung TransplantJob Description : - This position requires scrub experience; candidates must be comfortable scrubbing and rate 3 / 4s in scrubbing CV / PV / Heart and Lung transplant.- The facility has a requirement for travelers to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.- OR RNs are expected to be well-rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant, as they will be floated where needed.- Use of special equipment such as DaVinci XI.- Call requirement of 90-120 hours within a 6-week schedule.- Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours.- Floating is required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.- Modules are completed pre-start and are non-billable, averaging 8-16 hours.- Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.This role invites first-time travelers if they have Level 1 Trauma experience and local travelers will have specific conditions applied.
