Job Description

• Join our team specializing in Ortho Trauma care.
• Work within a 36-bed unit, providing top-quality nursing care.
• Day and Night Shifts include 1 charge RN, with a support team of 9 RNs and 3 CNAs.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility to handle up to 5 patients if needed.
• Utilize equipment including telemetry for effective monitoring.
• Document and manage care using our Electronic Medical Records system.
• Preferred candidates will have experience with Ortho and Trauma patients.
• Typical patients include those with polytrauma, non-surgical cervical fractures, and downgraded traumatic brain injuries.
• Manage patients with no more than 3 drains, and those with downgraded burns.
• Handle Heparin and Protonix drips effectively.
• Float as needed to all PCU areas including Cardiac Stepdown, ICU Stepdown, Neuro PCU, and Medical-Surgical units.
• Follow a dress code requiring Royal Blue scrubs.
• Weekends and on-call duties as required.
