Job Title : Registered NurseJob Specialty : Emergency Room (ER)Job Duration : 13 WeeksShift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)Guaranteed Hours : [Not specified]Experience : Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted with Level 1 trauma experienceLicense : MO or Compact licensure must be in handCertifications : ACLS & PALS required, CPI preferredMust-Have : - 2 years of emergency room experience- Level 1 trauma experience recommended- Cerner experience preferred- 2 references from a charge nurse or above- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)Job Description : - Work in a Level 1 trauma center, Stroke, and Stemi ED with a pediatric ED inside.- Float between ED and ED Observation units, mandatory for all units.- Required to work 50% of holidays and every other weekend.- Participate in non-billable orientation lasting 8 hours.- Engage in non-billable modules during orientation and annually, which vary by specialty.- Return travelers not required to re-orientate if returning within 18 months.- Modules completed during orientation and are recorded by the onsite manager.- Floating expectations include assignments as a Patient Observer (PTOB) Sitter within various units.- Behavioral Health certification (CPI Blue Card) required for all Behavioral Health RNs, available for completion onsite.
