Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma - $2,516 per week in Espanola, NM

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Swing shift, 12-hour shifts (1pm-1am or 3pm-3am)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current experience in a large Emergency Department required

License: Active compact license required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)

Must-Have

• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Must pass the basic cardiac arrhythmia (BCA) testing during the first week of assignment
  
  

Job Description

• Adhere to a 75-mile straight-line radius rule; local travelers are not eligible
• Time off must be disclosed initially; requests after the acceptance date will not be approved
• Shift may vary to fulfill department needs; on-call, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Travelers will float within the facility and alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent location
• Orientation in the first week of the contract, not exceeding 40 hours, includes EPIC training
• Scrubs required and not provided; white scrub top with sangria red, plum purple, hunter green, or black scrub pants must be worn
• Holiday time-off requests will not be approved for travelers
• Travelers must not have been employees of the health services system in the past 12 months to be considered for a travel position
