Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period

Experience: Minimum 2 years required

License: Valid CA license must be in hand

Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, LA City Fire Card

Must-Have: LA fire card within the last 30 days

Job Description

• Work in a Level 2 Trauma center, managing cases such as Pediatrics, AMIs, Strokes, MVAs, Gunshot wounds, Sepsis, and CHF.
• Care for a diverse patient population; familiarity with Antibiotics, Vasopressors, Opioids, Sedation, Anti-hypertensives, Anti-seizure, and Cardiac medications is essential.
• Pediatric cases account for 30% of the volume.
• Work every other weekend.
• Orientation consists of 40 hours, with additional non-billable modules requiring an average of 16 hours to complete pre-start and annually.
• Chart using Epic system.
• Be prepared to float between all facilities within the state as needed.
• Must have a minimum of two supervisory references covering at least one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting.
