- Work in a Level 2 Trauma center, managing cases such as Pediatrics, AMIs, Strokes, MVAs, Gunshot wounds, Sepsis, and CHF.
- Care for a diverse patient population; familiarity with Antibiotics, Vasopressors, Opioids, Sedation, Anti-hypertensives, Anti-seizure, and Cardiac medications is essential.
- Pediatric cases account for 30% of the volume.
- Work every other weekend.
- Orientation consists of 40 hours, with additional non-billable modules requiring an average of 16 hours to complete pre-start and annually.
- Chart using Epic system.
- Be prepared to float between all facilities within the state as needed.
- Must have a minimum of two supervisory references covering at least one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting. Please note that COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are not required. Completion of modules is self-reported, and all travelers are expected to adhere to floating policies.
