Must-Have: Level 3 trauma experience, willingness to work charge, and ability to float within or to nearby hospitals

Job Description

• Work in a Level III trauma center with flexibility to manage between 46-60 beds
• Maintain staffing ratios, ensuring no more than 1:4 ratio for regular ER patients
• Manage an average of 8 Behavioral Health patients per day
• Handle general emergency department duties including combined adult/pediatric care
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Perform phlebotomy, start IVs, and administer continuous IV sedation and vasopressors
• Administer procedural sedation, and manage CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients
• Adhere to isolation precautions and float within the hospital system as needed
• First-time travelers accepted, providing they meet all necessary experience requirements
• Comply with flu vaccination requirements; medical or religious exemptions accepted
• Mandatory work during two out of three major holidays
