License:** Current State RN license required
Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC (required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Must-Have:** Degree from an accredited nursing program

Job Description

Provide both direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
Deliver care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations with minimal supervision.
Efficiently triage patients based on physical and psychosocial needs and manage patient flow through the system safely.
Communicate effectively with ER Physicians and Mid-level providers regarding patient status changes and results of diagnostic studies.
Respond rapidly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, mid-level providers, allied health staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Direct the work of Emergency Department techs, registration staff, and other allied health staff.
Take direction from the Emergency Department Director, Physicians, Mid-level providers, and Director of Nursing.
Maintain and apply knowledge of Emergency Department nursing principles and procedures.
Demonstrate basic office skills and computer proficiency.
Possess IV skills and the ability to operate both manual and electronic medical equipment.
Conduct thorough patient assessments.
