Must-Have

• Skilled home care experience
• Home health experience with OASIS training
• IV skills and wound care
• Experience with general medical diagnoses and high-risk diagnoses such as HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke
• Post-operative care experience
  
  

Job Description

• Provide skilled home care visits, handling 6-8 visits per day
• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care
• Apply ABI compression dressing and wound vacuum dressing
• Manage Pleurx/Asept drain care and foley catheter change and care
• Conduct staple/suture removal, use glucometer, pro-time machine, SQ/IM injections, and lab draw venipuncture
• Conduct IV skills, PICC line or midline care, and dressing change
• Access and deaccess SQ port
• Handle home skilled visits under Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance
• Work hours vary according to HomeCare office needs, with potential alternating weekend shifts
• Use provided laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers for documentation using timesheet documentation system
• Fulfill compliance requirements, including COVID and flu vaccinations, with exemptions where applicable
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and car for making home visits
• Compliance documentation due 10 days before start
• Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually
