Job Title: Imaging Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Critical Care

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Interventional Radiology/Imaging RN 8 AM - 4:30 PM, including on-call requirements for after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

Experience: Prior experience in Interventional Radiology/Imaging RN and Moderate Sedation administration

License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state or holds a current compact/multi-state license

Certifications

• ACLS Certification - Required
• BCLS Certification - Required
• Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card - Required
  
  

Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing, BSN preferred or required within five years of hire date

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Apply professional nursing theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain constant interaction with internal and external customers, including patients, families, physicians, employees, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
• Administer patient care following organizational policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, and the public.
• Analyze situations, apply critical thinking, and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, and stoop while working.
• Lift/move patients frequently and carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs intermittently.
• Use finger/hand dexterity frequently, with constant reaching with hands/arms.
• Communicate clearly and frequently, with corrected hearing and vision to the normal range.
• Work under moderate noise levels in a potentially stressful environment, including weekends/holidays if required.
• Exposed to blood, body fluids, tissue, and possible infectious materials, with intermittent risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
