Must-Have
- At least 1 year of ICU and Stepdown experience
- Experience in a large teaching hospital with acuity of at least 3:1
- Ventilator experience
- Trauma-related injuries experience such as head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and surgical care
- EPIC EMR experience
- Work in a Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of at least 1:3
- Manage patients with trauma-related injuries
- Prepare and complete pre-assignment testing and modules
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program of 16 hours
- Float to other units when needed, based on qualifications and competencies
- Collaborate with a team of 7 RNs, maintaining a 3:1 maximum staffing ratio
- Ensure all time off requests are included at the time of submission
- Engage with high acuity care and provide thorough patient care and support
