The facility features a 13-bed unit with a patient ratio of 2:1.
The equipment used includes Plum 360 pumps, Plum Duo Pumps, and CAD PCA systems.
The Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner.
Preferred experience includes post-op ICU/PACU and recent experience with Cerner, though this does not have to be within the last year.
Candidates should be flexible, calm, multitaskers, with a positive attitude and compassion.
The dress code requires galaxy blue scrubs with the option of black scrub pants.
This facility is an academic medical center known for advanced heart care treatment.
It is noted for numerous medical firsts nationally and globally, including transplants and heart surgeries.
The transplant center here is among a select group approved to perform various organ transplants.
There are no on-call requirements, but there is a need to float between ICU, PCU, or Med Surg units.
