Job Description
- Work in a 12-bed ICU and 8-bed CCU unit, managing patients with conditions such as ESRD, COPD, respiratory failure, and post-cardiac arrest.
- Ensure appropriate patient ratios are maintained with ICU at 2:1 and CCU at 4:1.
- Utilize and manage equipment including ventilators, NxStage CRRT, arterial lines, and central lines.
- Float to other units as required while maintaining patient care standards.
- Document patient information accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and effective teamwork in a high-pressure environment.
- Adhere to the dress code with galaxy blue or black scrubs; ensure proper attire is maintained, avoiding sweatshirts, shoes with holes, and non-scrub jackets.
- Engage in a supportive team environment at a full-service hospital that offers a wide range of vascular, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, surgical, rehabilitative, and emergency services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams that include specialties in weight-loss management, medical detox, oncology, and hematology care.
