- 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: 2 years of experience in specialty areas required License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have:
- Basic dysrhythmia testing competency
- Willingness to float between ICU and stepdown units
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Job Description:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions.
- This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4-hour blocks of time.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
