Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)Job Specialty : Critical Care - ICUJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 12-hour days, 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 PM to 7 AM, or rotating shifts, Sunday through SaturdayGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours per weekExperience : Minimum of 2 years in medical / surgical ICU experienceLicense : Active RN LicenseCertifications : BLS and ACLS required (AHA only), NIHSS requiredMust-Have : - Willingness to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) if needed- Experience with cardiac drips and ability to interpret telemetry- Candidate must live outside of a specified radius to meet location criteriaJob Description : - Perform general duties specific to critical care nursing- Utilize equipment and systems in the unit, including Cerner System (transitioned to EPIC in 2021) and Omnicell automated medication cabinet- Maintain excellent nurse-to-patient ratios : ICU at 2 : 1, PCU at 4 : 1- Collaborate with team members on the unit, never working alone- Attend a structured orientation program, including one day onboarding with an Educator and two days on-unit with an RN- Adhere to the dress code of navy blue attire- Potential to float to the Emergency Department as neededPlease ensure all the above qualifications and requirements are met before applying for this challenging and rewarding position in a supportive and dynamic environment.
