- Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other healthcare team members.
- Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
- Provide high-quality care to adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patient populations.
- Expected to float to other units as needed.
- Responsible for self-studying Telemetry strips before the assignment begins.
- Will be required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia test during the first week of the assignment to work in ICU-CCU units.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care processes.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-4 as per unit requirements. Please ensure that all necessary certifications and licensure are up to date prior to the start of the assignment.
