- Join a dedicated Intensive Care Unit team with a 14-bed capacity.
- Work alongside 8 RNs per shift with a charge RN to manage patient care.
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 as needed.
- Utilize Alaris IV pumps and the EMR system, EPIC, for patient management.
- Perform critical procedures such as intubation, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion.
- Be flexible to float to other departments as needed, including Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, or Special Care.
- Abide by the dress code of navy blue scrubs.
- Weekend and on-call duties are primarily Monday through Friday.
- Preferred candidates will have one year of experience in recovering patients from open-heart surgeries in a 12-hour post-operative setting.
