Job Description
- Assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
- Provide comfort to patients and families and offer prompt and effective nursing management.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Support organizational efforts to continuously improve patient satisfaction scores.
- Perform and document physical and psychosocial assessment of patients.
- Treat co-workers with courtesy and respect, actively working to strengthen interdepartmental relationships.
- Work in a unit where the nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 2:1 for ICU levels of care, with supervisory support available.
