The minimum facility requirement is that the applicant's permanent address must be 50 miles from the assigned primary worksite location.
Floating is required and the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on current staffing needs.
During the assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be reassigned to another unit to complete the contract.
Facility-required experience includes multiple ICU units such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.
ICU experience with adult populations is required, and applicants must be willing to work with IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.
Applicants must have experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center.
Successful completion of a travel assignment (13 weeks) is required.
This is not for first-time travelers.
Orientation is 20 hours, with a specific schedule determined based on departmental needs.
