Job Description
- Participate in interventional radiology procedures, assisting providers as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing and assisting the Interventional Radiology Provider during procedures.
- Adapt to varying patient acuity as staffing ratio depends on acuity.
- Be available for on-call duties typically requiring 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month, adjustments possible based on need.
- Complete a 12-hour orientation prior to starting regular shifts.
- Follow all COVID-19 vaccine requirements, with medical or religious exemptions being the only exceptions.
- Wear navy blue scrubs, which are provided for IR and OR.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with standards, including OSHA Respirator Clearance and being clean shaven for FIT testing.
- Participate in required holiday and weekend rotations as applicable.
- Be willing to float within your scope to meet facility needs if required.
