Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend and holiday rotation

Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Experience: Minimum 1 year

License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license

Certifications: BLS certification required

Must-Have: Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs; open to first-time travelers

Job Description

• Work in a 16-bed adult Medical Surgical unit focusing on hepatology and gastroenterology involving liver patients.
• Care for a variety of diverse medical/surgical and post-surgical patients.
• Opportunity to attend to highly infectious disease patients, including those with COVID-19.
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 depending on staffing.
• Charge RN assignments could either be free-floating or include the care of one patient.
• Participate in facility-specific schedule and call-off policies, including mandatory hurricane season response if applicable (June through November).
• Complete orientation and non-billable modules as part of the onboarding process.
• Abide by facility dress code with attire in solid royal blue or white tops with royal blue bottoms.
• Use EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Note: All requests for time off must be included upon submission for consideration and approval will depend on facility needs. Flu vaccine is required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
