Must-Have
- Two satisfactory professional references from most recent employers (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN acceptable).
- Willingness to float within hospital.
- Must be comfortable with working weekends and holidays as required.
- Active license as specified.
- Responsibilities include providing nursing care in the Medical Surgical Unit.
- Adhering to compliance regulations, including completion of compliance documents five days prior to the start date.
- Complete labs within 72 hours of contract signing.
- Ability to handle various scheduling scenarios, with an understanding that block schedule or schedule restrictions cannot be requested, though unit will try to accommodate.
- Orientation consists of 24 hours.
- Weekend & holiday shifts are required.
- Previous travelers to the health system must have been away for at least six months to be eligible; former staff must have been gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler.
- Comfortable floating without restrictions or special requests within the scope of experience.
