Job Description
- Work in our 16-bed Plastic Surgery and Limb Salvage unit, offering exceptional post-operative care for patients undergoing complex procedures.
- Care for patients undergoing reconstructive plastic surgery, diabetic limb salvage often with reconstructive flaps, complex wound management, and surgical wound care.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary practice team, including exceptional Nurse Practitioners, to maintain a strong standard in patient care.
- Facilitate communication pathways among physicians, physical therapists, and clinical pharmacists on a daily basis.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.
- Rotate shifts between days and nights; shift flexibility is essential.
- A weekend rotation is included, with every other weekend required.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity.
- Flu Vaccine is required.
