- Provides leadership and follow-up during critical events such as code blue, code red, and code 100.
- Evaluates staffing needs continuously and adjusts as necessary to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Functions as a clinical and administrative resource for the nursing staff, providing consultation, advice, and education.
- Assists staff with conflict resolution between staff/physician, patient/physician, and staff/staff.
- Advocates for patients, families, and staff, and supports patient rights.
- Supports other departments to meet patient needs and maintain operations during non-operating hours.
- Completes all employee performance evaluations by the due dates.
