- Strong post-surgical competencies
- Comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6
- Accepting first-time travelers
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- No call requirement
- Will float to other Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Department waiting areas to take Medical/Surgical patients as needed

- Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
- Accessing Ports
- Blood Product Administration
- Peripheral Line Care/Management
- PICC line management
- Starting IVs

- PCA (Patient Controlled Analgesia)
- Surgical drains
- Chest tubes - Emerson/Pleur-evac systems
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Nasal cannula usage
- Non-invasive airway management
- Oral suctioning
- Oxygen face masks usage
- Portable Oxygen tank management
- Tracheostomy Management
- Isolation Precautions
- Wound Care/Wound Vac
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but the flu vaccine is required, with medical exemptions only.
- Orientation includes 8 non-billable hours, completed during orientation and annually.
- Modules are self-reported and non-billable.
