Job Title: Registered Nurse

Certifications: Chemo Certification is a plus, but not required

Must-Have

• At least 1 completed previous travel assignment
• Med Surg Experience

Job Description

• Work in a medical-surgical overflow unit with occasional oncology, post-surgical, and observation patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6/7
• Be available for on-call and weekend shifts as needed
• Be open to working 2 out of the 3 major end-of-year holidays if they fall during the assignment
• Orient for 16 hours
  
  

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Pending licenses are not accepted; all travelers must comply with Nursing Licensure Compact guidelines
• Cerner experience preferred
• Floating between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius is possible, though rare unless specified
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is not required unless specified in certain positions
• Candidates should ensure certifications do not expire during the assignment or have a renewal plan documented
