Must-Have
- IV insertion
- Telemetry interpretation
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Manage medical conditions such as irregular heart rate, COPD, pneumonia, renal failure, and influenza.
- Utilize medical equipment and aids including pumps, SCDs, low air loss mattresses, and VACs.
- Administer and monitor medications including Hep, Cardiazem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, and Dobutamine (no titration needed).
- Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, working every other weekend.
- Be prepared to float to different units as needed, related to skillset.
- Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records and documentation.
