- Orientation: 8 hours, non-billable
- Travelers may start with CPI Blue Card pending and take the course onsite
- Return travelers not requiring re-orientation if returning within 18 months
- Acceptance of local applicants at different rates
- Preferred proficiency in Cerner
- 2 references required in the profile from a charge nurse or above
- Required to work 50% of holidays and weekends during the contract
- Mandatory floating to any area within the organization as a Patient Observer or Sitter
- Specific floating guidelines for various units (ICU, PCU, Pediatrics, Post-Partum, L&D)
- Completion of non-billable modules during orientation and annually, varies by specialty
- Modules are recorded by onsite manager through Cornerstone
