Licensed nursing assistant (LNA) ratios to patients are 1:7-11.
Registered nurse (RN) patient ratios are 4:1 on days and 5:1 on nights.
Travelers are expected to float as needed.
Required Experience
Experience with chest tubes, various drains, and tubes is necessary.
Knowledge of drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone is required.
Familiarity with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients is a must.
Experience with trachs, laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central line care and maintenance is essential.
Central line blood drawing expertise is required.
The position guarantees 36 hours per week.
