Job Title: Registered NurseJob Specialty: Medical SurgicalJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeksExperience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceLicense: South Carolina license or Compact license requiredCertifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHMust-Have: Travel nursing experienceJob Description:- Provide specialized care in the Medical/Surgical unit during night shifts, with potential shifts of 3x12 hours also considered.- Manage patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7.- Work every other weekend as required.- Be prepared to float within scope to meet facility needs and adjust to similar units.- Complete pre-start modules assigned before the start date, typically available the Wednesday prior.- Attend staff meetings regularly.- Engage in telemetry, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing dysrhythmias if preferred.- Adhere to required orientation hours before starting the position.- Accommodate potential schedule blocks upon prior request, though approvals are not guaranteed.- Observance of flu vaccination requirements with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.- Be aware of emergency response obligations during hurricane season from June to November.Note: This job is open to local candidates, but preference is given to non-local applicants.
