Job Description
- Work in a unit with 35 beds, providing care to a mixed patient population.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, ensuring quality and personalized care.
- Handle common patient diagnoses including orthopedic post-operative care, potential CVA/TIA, bariatric post-operative care, and cases of hypoxia or pneumonia.
- Utilize the Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identify any changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and support to enhance recovery and improve health outcomes.
