- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with common medical-surgical diagnoses such as stroke, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, COPD, and COVID-19.
- Maintain a safe and effective nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
- Use Cerner for charting and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other Medical/Surgical units when floating.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Dress professionally in designated scrub color.
- No special procedures required. Note: Candidates will be evaluated and offers should be accepted or declined within 48 hours to avoid rescindment. Orientation hours are not provided.
