- Complete focused obstetrical assessments.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with sonographers and providers.
- Perform blood draws and injections.
- Provide education and resources to patients.
- Utilize equipment such as ultrasound machines and fetal monitors.
- Use computerized charting systems.
- Shift requirements include 5 eight-hour shifts per week, starting at either 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM.
- Participation in weekend and holiday rotations is expected.
- The unit has 8 exam rooms and handles an average of 40 patients per day.
- The team is staffed daily with 4-6 RNs depending on patient volume.
- Dress code is scrub attire with no specific color required.
- Orientation lasts 2-3 weeks.
- Call-off policy allows equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks without penalty.
- Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours, and guaranteed hours do not apply during this period.
