• American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS (within 6 months of hire)

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Diploma from School of Nursing
• 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
• Compliance with stroke competency and education requirements
  
  

Job Description

• Work collaboratively with the health care team to plan and implement patient and family education.
• Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.

Holiday coverage is required for this position. Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility for assignment consideration. Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
