Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: 2 or more years required

License: Active MD or Compact License at time of application

Certifications: BLS and PALS required

Must-Have

• CPI Certification (online version acceptable)
• Two satisfactory professional references (one from a supervisor/manager and one from a charge RN)
  
  

Job Description

• Day and night shifts available, working 36 hours per week.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• On-call is not required.
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions allowed.
• Compliance documents deadline is 5 days prior to start date.
• Candidates must complete necessary labs within 72 hours of signing their contract.
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of initial application and cannot exceed 7 days.
• Floating within hospital is expected, with travelers being first to float; candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions within their experience scope.
• Block schedule or schedule restrictions cannot be guaranteed.
• Travelers and former staff must meet certain conditions for eligibility if returning.
  
  

Note: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the hospital they are applying for. Return travelers must be away for at least 6 months. Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler. Orientation consists of 24 hours.
