- Minimum of one year acute Psychiatric Inpatient experience desired
- Experience handling crisis and emergency situations
- Experience working with substance abuse population preferred
Certifications: AHA CPR certification required
Must-Have
- Associate degree in nursing required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability and desire to work with Mental Health issues and patients with identified psychiatric/mental health needs
- Good interpersonal skills and knowledge required for the position
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Psychiatric Inpatient Unit
- Respond to crisis and emergency situations
- Work with patients with substance abuse issues
- Carry out physical requirements such as lifting and rapid movements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health needs.
