Job Description

• Position involves working within the Float Pool Unit specializing in Behavioral Health.
• First-time applicants are accepted.
• Weekend shifts required every other week.
• On-call duties are not required.
• Clinicians will float within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Local candidates are accepted.
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to the start date.
• Nurses may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift, without an additional pay bump for those hours.
• Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR experience is preferred.
• RTO (Request for Time Off) must be submitted with the initial profile; later requests must be approved by the facility and will not be granted upon confirmation.
• Candidates applying for a permanent position in the facility must wait one full year before submitting for a travel position.
• Drug Screen: Candidates must pass on the first attempt; the facility has a strict policy on failed drug screens.
• Orientation consists of 16 hours, with modules being non-billable and averaging 8 hours. Modules are completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty, and recorded through the Relias/Net Learning portal.
