Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team. As a Sleep Technologist at Cynet Health, you will be responsible for administering respiratory treatments, conducting diagnostic examinations, and performing sleep studies.
Responsibilities:
- Administer designated respiratory treatments, medications, and life support to patients.
- Conduct diagnostic examinations for the diagnosis of cardiovascular and pulmonary ailments.
- Perform and provide sleep studies along with real-time scoring.
- Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals effectively.
- Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public clearly.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations and calculate figures such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where limited standardization exists.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and exercise sound technical judgment and assessment skills.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in Respiratory Therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of sleep study experience.
- State license in Alaska.
- Certifications: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Certification and registration from the National Board of Respiratory Therapy Care (NBRC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accreditation as RRT-RPSGT through BRPT or RRT/CRT-SDS through the NBRC.
