This position is a 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are day shifts, Monday through Friday, with shared weekends and nights on call.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care, assessment, and therapy delivery to patients as requested by physicians.
- Work in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, and home care environments.
- Perform procedures with minimal assistance, such as intubations, cesarean sections, aerosol delivery, and patient assessment and care planning.
- Demonstrate professional behavior both on duty and as a representative outside of work hours.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with patients, visitors, and facility staff.
- Demonstrate organizational ability and time management skills.
- Produce deliverable products on time with minimal direction.
- Compile and organize data, making appropriate recommendations based on the information obtained.
- Maintain organized records upon request for the tasks performed within the scope of the job.
