Position : Locum Tenens - Physician -Family Medicine for level IV-ED
Location : OR
Start Date : As soon as credentialed (Flexible)
Length / Need : 6 months, possibility to extend
Shift Type : 24 Hour
Shift Description : 24 hour in house shifts
Weekend Requirements : As part of schedule
On Call Requirements : No Call
Details :
- Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts.
- Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift.
- Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%).
- Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24 / 7.
- Effective telestroke program well established.
- Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers / physician consultation.
- EMR : EPIC
- Credentialing timeframe : 2-3 months
- Comfortable with Rural locations
