About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Physician-Gastroenterologist to join our team in a dynamic inpatient hospital-based practice. As a GI Hospitalist and Inpatient GI Call Coverage provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our medical team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing GI Hospitalist and Inpatient GI Call Coverage services for 3 weeks per month, which can be split among multiple GIs.
- Performing ERCP procedures and communicating biopsy results directly to patients or through designated clinic Medical Assistants (MAs).
- Collaborating with anesthesia teams during day shifts to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Active Washington State medical license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship program.
- Active DEA registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in ERCP procedures.
