Job Title : Physician Job Specialty : Urgent Care Job Duration : 3 months, possibility to extend Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (09 : 00 - 20 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week Experience : Minimum of 2 years experience as an FNP with face-to-face patient contact within the past year License : Active WA license required Certifications : To be discussed during credentialing; provider responsible for obtaining required certifications Must-Have : Clean background and no malpractice history Job Description : - Work in an outpatient ambulatory setting within a Community Health Center. - Provide medical care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. - Collaborate with dedicated support staff, including a medical assistant and receptionist. - Interface with mental health therapists, dietitians, pediatricians, and healthcare administrators onsite. - Expected to manage patient cases efficiently, seeing up to 21 patients per shift. - Perform basic procedures like injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. - Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Record for documentation. - Commit to a fast-paced environment and maintain productivity expectations. - Participate in one-week ramp-up orientation and begin patient care by the third day. - Travel logistics such as flights, rental car or mileage, and lodging will be covered. - Possibility of extra shifts on Saturdays for additional experience. - Experience with walk-in / acute care services and chronic disease management is beneficial.
