- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- May work with complex machines or computer systems.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in testing of RF components and RF circuit card assemblies.
- 5 years of experience setting up and operating RF and optical electrical test and measurement instrumentation.
- 3 years of experience in automated and manual RF probing of microelectronic components.
- Must be willing to work first or second shift.
- Knowledge/experience in construction and assembly of RF, optical, and digital test fixtures.
- Able to present test results and communicate with test engineers and RF engineers.
- Ability to learn to program automated RF and digital test measurement systems.
- Good computer skills in use of Microsoft windows and office.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
