Job Description:
- This position is with the Robot Programming team that are currently working and will be introducing two new models.
Requirements:

- Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects.
- Able to take the initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2 years of technical degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
- Experience with Kawasaki Robots, and Fanuc Robots (programming and problem troubleshooting).
- Experience with Digital Engineering.
- Additional related certifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Education - Associate/Technical Degree.
Mandatory skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Good computer skills.
Preferred skills:
- Experience or knowledge of checking the quality of the manufacturing equipment or the robots.
- Experience working with Robots, and programming languages (Catia OR Carrot 3, the team is currently using both).
- Digital Experience.
Responsibities:
- Online robot programming -Sealer, UBC, and Dampening - Run trials and adjust parameters - Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards.
- Online robot Programming - Primer, Base, and Clear - Run trials and adjust parameters - Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards.
- Off-line robot programming - Use simulation software to perform reach studies and cycle time analysis - Knowledge of Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3 programming software.
- Evaluate Quality - Use elco-meters, wave-scan, and X-Rite.
- Create HandOver Documents - Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMCs.
- Effective communications - Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate using the written word.
