Leave Management :
Process the payments for all leave of absence requests, including Short-term Disability, Parental Leave, and other applicable leaves. Ensure that leave payments comply with company policies and relevant laws. Payroll Processing :
ccurately calculate payroll for employees on leave, including any adjustments for accrued benefits or paid time off. Enter payroll data related to leave of absence into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions for all employees. Review and audit payroll data to confirm accuracy before payroll runs are completed. ssist with the weekly and semi-monthly payroll preparation and distribution. Compliance and Reporting :
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations. Prepare and distribute necessary reports regarding leave usage and payroll impact for management and HR. nalyze payroll data and generate reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with HR and finance to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies. ccounting Functions :
Maintain payroll accounting records to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies. ssist in the preparation of journal entries related to payroll transactions, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring payroll-related transactions are accurately reflected in financial statements. dminister payments for union dues Manage the purchase order process and payment of invoices for benefit-related vendors Communication :
Communicate effectively with employees regarding their leave status, pay adjustments, and other payroll-related inquiries. Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure a seamless experience for employees on leave. Serve as point of contact for all leave of absence payment inquiries. Data Management :
Maintain accurate records of leave requests, approvals, and payroll adjustments in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. ssist in audits related to payroll and leave of absence processes. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and / or accounting with a focus on leaves. Strong understanding of payroll and accounting principles, as well as federal and state regulations. Proficiency in ADP Globalview, SAP S / 4 HANA, preferred. Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, required. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
