Responsibilities:
- Inbound Logistics & PTP Coordination
- Configure and support purchase orders, inbound deliveries, and goods receipts in SAP, aligning with project requirements for vendor and 3PL warehouse integration.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of stock transport orders (STOs) where relevant, ensuring proper stock movements across locations.
- Inventory Management & Daily Updates
- Oversee inventory change logic (e.g., daily true-ups, reallocation, re-segmentation) in SAP, coordinating with external e-commerce or middleware platforms.
- Ensure accurate reflection of quantity on hand, inbound/outbound shipments, and stock posting to avoid discrepancies.
- Integration & Data Exchange
- Collaborate with middleware or integration teams to design and validate interfaces handling inbound and outbound inventory data (e.g., purchase confirmations, ASN receipt, fulfillment updates).
- Address data mapping for SKU references or external IDs, ensuring alignment between SAP materials and e-commerce product information.
- UAT & Defect Resolution
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing, troubleshoot defects, and confirm that PTP and inventory processes function smoothly.
- Work closely with testers, business owners, and technical leads to finalize solutions and ensure readiness for go-live.
- Cutover & Hypercare Support
- Assist in planning and executing final cutover activities (purchase order cutover, inventory count alignment, interface switchover).
- Provide hypercare support post-go-live, rapidly resolving any PTP or inventory-related incidents.
- Ongoing Improvement & Transition
- Suggest process refinements or automation opportunities to optimize inbound deliveries, vendor integration, or daily inventory updates.
- Transition to the support/AMS phase, maintaining consistent standards for inbound logistics and procurement workflows.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Logistics, Procure-to-Pay, or Inventory Management roles.
- Functional & Technical Expertise
- Expertise in MM (Materials Management), Inbound Delivery, Goods Receipt processes, and basic SD knowledge for order fulfillment if needed.
- Familiarity with interface design (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, or middleware) for inbound/outbound stock updates.
- Able to interpret project requirements for daily inventory changes (e.g., reallocation, nightly true-ups) and adapt SAP configurations.
- Soft Skills
- Clear communication to coordinate with external e-commerce or middleware partners, as well as internal business users.
- Problem-solving mindset, especially under tight go-live timelines, with a willingness to adapt quickly.
- Collaborative approach, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Finance, Warehouse, and IT teams.
- Exposure to agile project methodologies during e-commerce or system integrations.
- Experience with S/4HANA or cloud-based SAP deployments (RISE) is a plus.
- Basic ABAP debugging to handle data mapping or custom logic enhancements.
