Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Cynet Systems. This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in power systems.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on assigned electrical engineering projects. This will include assisting in the development of Electrical Engineering projects utilizing new technology to upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls, and protection of the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate AFEs (Authorization for Expenditure) for capital funding requests
- Manage small to medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects
- Assist in developing and implementing new methods and techniques for operational improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and three years of experience in Engineering, OR
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and two years of experience in Engineering
- Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Experience with industrial AC and DC motors, VFDs, and plant instrumentation
- Familiarity with NEC & NFPA70E Regulations
