Cynet Systems is looking for an exceptional Senior Environmental Professional to lead our environmental efforts. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental projects and programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing environmental risk and developing regulatory documentation, performing hazardous waste site inspections, and recommending action to management. You will also serve as Project Manager or technical expert on large/complex environmental projects, evaluating and administering contracts with vendors, and providing guidance and counsel to site management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental projects and programs
- Assess environmental risk and develop regulatory documentation
- Perform hazardous waste site inspections and recommend action to management
- Serve as Project Manager or technical expert on large/complex environmental projects
- Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors
- Provide guidance and counsel to site management teams
- Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts
- Maintain current working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (such as Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Agricultural, Mining, Metallurgical, Geological, or similar Engineering discipline)
- Or Master's degree in Engineering (such as Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Agricultural, Mining, Metallurgical, Geological, or similar Engineering discipline) and three years of Engineering experience in Environmental Management
