Pay Range: $65hr - $86.88hr
Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage physical and virtual infrastructure using Dell servers, NetApp storage arrays, Nutanix clusters, and VMware vSphere.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and hardware and software components patching.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high infrastructure availability and performance.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of systems to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, including hardware failures, network problems, and virtualization issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate infrastructure deployments and configurations.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.
- Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding infrastructure status, issues, and resolutions.
- Work with vendors for support and problem resolution.
- Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure platforms.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Work with the cyber security team to remediate 0-day issues, etc.
